Our Community Needs You
Unlike other Texas communities, Liberty Hill voters did not pass meaningful, commonsense policies, and our children, teachers and community are paying the price. A school proposition can pass or fail by just ONE vote.
Your participation is critical. Every single vote matters in determining the future of our schools and community. Don't let others decide for you—make your voice count.
Why Prop A Matters: Four Critical Needs
1
Cover Rising Costs
Inflation has increased 21% but LHISD received only one state increase since 2019. After cutting $8 million over the last two years, the district still carries a $2 million deficit. Prop A addresses the immediate budget shortfall.
2
Protect Students & Staff
State mandates require armed officers at every campus but only funds $55 per student for safety. The actual cost is $180 per student. Prop A keeps highly trained School Resource Officers (SRO) at every campus.
3
Maintain Low Class Sizes
Classroom positions and student programs have been cut in recent years. Without new funding, more cuts are on the way. Prop A prevents further reductions that harm student learning.
4
Trusted Community Input
Parents, teachers, community leaders, and retirees collaborated to identify district critical needs. Prop A is their recommendation based on extensive community engagement and expert analysis.

School Safety: A Critical Investment
The Funding Gap
State mandates require armed officers at every campus but only funds $55 per student for safety.
The actual cost is $180 per student.
This $125 per student gap must be filled locally to keep highly trained School Resource Officers (SRO) at every campus and protect our children from modern threats.
What's at Stake Without Prop A
Student Programs
Cannot restore essential student programs that have been eliminated
Campus Security
Cannot maintain security staff or safety initiatives at every campus
Class Sizes
Cannot reduce class sizes or prevent further teacher layoffs
Protect Liberty Hill ISD or risk losing what makes our community strong.
With Prop A we can restore critical programs, keep great teachers, and avoid catastrophic cuts. The choice is clear.
